Went to Stawberry Field (let me take you down…) for a birthday picnic

Never been there (didn’t even know it existed) before – but it is a delightful place and great for parents to have a picnic and let the kids run and play free

It is accessed from shore road in Warsash (beside the pub), via a longish gravel path. It is level but a bit uneven in parts, but for my wheelchair it was OK (for my parners a bit iffy at times as she doesn’t have as good grip as me – but fine with a helpful push or two.
The recreation field itself is fine – not much by way of amenities or anything, but OK for what it is.
There are accessible toilets but in the carpark at the start of shore road – so a fair walk away from the playing field.
