Thwaite Mill is a still functional, industrial era water mill on the river Aire, in the outskirts of Leeds. Public transport options are limited, but there I’d a car park.
There is level access or a lift to all areas, with the caveat that many passages are narrow with tight corners, cobbles or uneven flagstones. Some of the doorways have steep lips. All displays can be accessed from a wheelchair.
Staff are friendly, and there is a disabled bathroom available.
