I stayed here during the Lockdown, June 2020 and so the bar and restaurant were closed.
The hotel has good, easy access from the street. It does not have its own parking, however there is space for approx 6 disabled badge holders to park outside, these spaces are limited to 4 hours stay but are only regulated until 6pm, since booking in time is 2pm, that should cause no problem but please ensure you check to see if the status of the spaces had changed. There is also a parking structure next door and the hotel offers discounted parking.
Once in the hotel, the reception is open and easily navigated, with a lower level desk too. I found the staff to be particularly helpful and friendly.
There are several accessible rooms, I would recommend asking for one facing the street ( I stayed in room 125 ) since they have large windows, the rooms at the back of the hotel have very small windows and are a little ‘dismal’.
The hotel is carpetted pretty much throughout, but it is not deep carpet and wheelchair users will not have any problems here.
Inside the room was particularly spacious with plenty of room to get around and maneavour the wheelchair. It is not luxurious, but the facilities are definately sufficient, all the things you would normally expect, I liked that the light switches, sockets and a USB socket were right next to the bed at a convenient height.
The room has a large wetroom which is well equipped with handles etc as you would expect, the sink is at a good height and clear underneath for access, the mirror is a good height and there is also a full length mirror in the wetroom
The only slight drawback was no seat provided in the wetroom and going to reception to ask for one was a little like asking ‘is it ok if I have a shower in the room I have paid for?’
Overall however I found this hotel very accessible and it seemed a lot of thought had been put into making things accessible without seperating the able from the less able.
