The medical museum has it’s own car park with disabled bays, and is situated on several main bus routes and a main road, making it easy to get to despite being a long way from the train station.
The entrance to the museum is level, and while the first door is manual (but permanently propped open), the second is automated (swings outwards). The desk is right by front door, and it would appear sensory kits are available for autistic visitors.
All displays are fully wheelchair accessible, although some are narrow in places, with tight corners. Some displays are too high to see from a wheelchair, but most are at an accessible height. There is lift access to all floors, and the lift is large.
While there are disabled toilets, there is also a full changing place available in the basement.
